The “Million Voices Movement – United to Shape the African Destiny,” also known as the 250×2040 Global Movement, invites you to be the change you wish to see. Change starts within, with a change of heart, commitment, and passion to join hands with others. Divided efforts will not achieve our goals; we must come together and genuinely believe in our collective power, voice, and influence.
Considering the enormity of the challenges and suffering, we are simply asking each of us to be a voice for the voiceless. If each of us dedicates at least 15 minutes every day to convince others to become change agents and join the movement, we can achieve our goal. A million or even ten million united voices will reverberate across the globe, becoming a strong influence and attracting sponsors and investors. Politicians, global leaders, and international institutions will be compelled to work with us, and our collective voice will unlock limitless possibilities.
This is a very achievable call for all Africans to unite. In a world where social media allows videos to reach billions in minutes, gathering 1 to 10 million earnest, passionate, and committed change agents and a united voice from 1.3 billion Africans should not be a daunting challenge.
