We are pleased to announce the launch of the 250×2040 Ambassadors Leadership Development Program. This program will collaborate with top universities to provide critical training in areas such as leadership, strategic management, project management, team management, decision-making, and financial management. The goal is to prepare ambassadors for leadership opportunities within the projects of the American Impact Investment Holding (AIIH) in various project countries, anchor economic clusters, and the management of economically sustainable communities. Active ambassadors who demonstrate commitment, passion, leadership interest,management interest, and practical participation in the 250×2040 campaigns and activities will be offered training and employment opportunities.
AIIH and the 250×2040 Global Movement are also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr.Jonathan King to lead the Ambassadors Leadership Development Program. Dr. King brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in higher education administration, executive training, and organizational development. As the Founding Senior Vice President for Training,Capacity Building, and Academic Networking at American Investment Fund Holding LLC, Dr. King leads the development and implementation of strategic programs designed to strengthen institutional capacity, foster professional learning, and expand academic and industry partnerships worldwide.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. King has held executive and senior-level positions at leading U.S. colleges and universities, including the University of California, Davis, Lake Tahoe Community College, Southwestern College, Colorado Mountain College, and Evergreen Valley College. His leadership has encompassed oversight of multi-million-dollar continuing and professional education portfolios, strategic planning for student and institutional success, and the creation of workforce and leadership development initiatives serving diverse and global constituencies.
A recognized expert in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Dr. King has designed and facilitate dexecutive leadership and capacity-building programs for government agencies, colleges, and community organizations across California. His work emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to expanding access to education and opportunity for underrepresented populations.
Dr. King holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Educational Administration from Harvard University, an M.A. from the International University of Japan, and a B.A. in Business Administration from More house College. He is also a Fellow of the Executive Leadership Academy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a participant in the Association of California Community College Mentorship Program.
With a global perspective and a passion for leadership excellence, Dr. King is dedicated to advancing AIFH’s mission to strengthen human capital and academic networks in support of sustainable development and economic growth across Africa and beyond.
